Building and Construction

One of the applications of XIRAN® hydrolyzed solutions (XIRAN® SL) is that of gypsum boards (wallboards). XIRAN®’s ability to drastically imidize improves the hydrophobicity of the systems


Polyscope offers a wide range of polymer additives for the compounding industry, we have devided our products in two product groups: XIRAN® heatboosters and XIBOND™ Blend optimizers.


Styrene maleic anhydride copolymers are suitable epoxy cross- linking agents (curing agents) which serve the needs of the electronics market.

Leather, detergents, and other

XIRAN® styrene maleic anhydride resins are used as leather retanning agents where leather retanning is a good preparation before the upcoming stages (redyeing, fatliquoring and finishing).


XIRAN® copolymers offer improved thermal properties for a wide range of engineering plastics such as PMMA, ABS and PS; this opens a gate way for packaging industry where higher temperature profiles are needed.


The technology options for paper makers under XIRAN® umbrella aimed at surface treatment are: XIRAN® alkali salt solutions, XIRAN® imide dispersions and XIRAN® polymer emulsions.

Coatings & inks

In the pigment and ink industry, XIRAN® grades are used as dispersants. In coatings, styrene provides the hardness of the coating while the presence of the polar maleic anhydride results into adhesion improvement to the substrate.

3D printing

Together with Innofil3D, manufacturer of premium FDM 3D filaments, Polyscope has developed a PVA compatible ABS filament for 3D-printing: ABS Fusion+.
